What We Do

 

In our community we share God's love in what we do.

 

  • Special times of reflection and worship, e.g. during Easter
  • Singing Group gathers periodically to learn new songs to celebrate events
  • Sunday School
  • The Youth Groups who meet during the Sunday service, Sunday evening and on other occasions.
  • Home Groups are small groups who meet for Bible study, prayer and friendship.
  • Korean Group
  • mainly music
  • Shared worship with other local churches during the year, including the Good Friday cross walk through Albany
  • Occasional evening contemplative worship services
  • Prayer meetings
  • Retreats – day or weekend opportunities for quiet reflection and prayer

 

 

For encouragement and celebration of our special bond of fellowship through social activities, here are some examples of what we do.

  • Annual display of art works to celebrate our creativity
  • Church family and women’s weekend camps
  • Men’s activities, e.g. fishing trips, men’s breakfast
  • Winter social event
  • Winter soup lunches
  • Winter film discussion evenings
  • Sunday School picnics
  • ‘Table for six or eight’ meals
  • Organised trips, e.g. Tiritiri Matangi
  • Library resources
